Prof. Vivek both academically and scholarly has a deep interest in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and the role that psychology and sociology plays in organizations. His research focuses on career sustainability and mobility among marginalized workers, especially low-income women balancing caregiving and employment. Using qualitative methods such as thematic analysis and grounded theory, he explores how institutional barriers, social relationships, and identity tensions shape career paths in gendered and economically constrained settings. As an ex-banker and an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Ranchi, Vivek brings practical corporate insight and contemporary industry knowledge into academia, designing courses that align with the evolving needs of modern organizations and management education.
